Summer Tips for Feeling Good
1. Love yourself! Whatever your shape,
weight
or age, make a
decision to look your best this
summer. Take some time out to treat yourself to
some new clothes that fit and flatter your shape,
wear a little make-up each day and
pamper yourself.
Treating yourself will do wonders for your
confidence!
2. Lighten up! Heavy make-up and summer days do not mix! Take
a look at your current make-up bag and see what you
can substitute during the summer to look great
without looking overdone. Maybe swap foundation for
a tinted moisturiser, your normal blusher for a light
bronzing powder and eyeshadow for a lighter more
summery shade. You don’t need to make major
changes, just a few subtle changes can make all the
difference.
3. Get a glow! Treat yourself to one of the great moisturisers
with a hint of tan for both face and body and use
everyday to make you feel like you have that holiday
glow wherever you are. It’s amazing how having a
bit of colour makes us feel great and this is a
great alternative to the damaging effects of too
much sun exposure.
4. Top to Toe! Remember the parts of you that you might
normally forget about, get a pedicure or manicure
and moisturise all over daily to feel great from top
to toe - and if you are single, who cares if no-one
sees all of you - what’s important is that you feel
great about yourself!
5. Experiment! Have you had the same hairstyle or make-up
palette for years? Maybe it’s time for a change!
Think about getting some highlights to lift your
look, consider a different, flattering haircut for
your face shape or try a couple of new make-up items
this summer - it’s time to dazzle!
